LEVEL  III  Course:  Your "Creative" Garments

The #300 series of classes are going to be your "CREATIVE" pieces for your wardrobe plan.  You will now be introduced to new possibilities of designing using the same patterns from the LEVEL I and II classes and adding just one more, the Jean Jacket.  There will be 5 more garments in this course and a lot more sewing techniques.

*  To complete this series of classes, you will need to purchase only this pattern:

          McCall's #7729     The Jean Jacket

You may order this pattern directly from the McCall's website HERE.

* These classes are set up for students wanting the next level of challenges in their sewing experiences.

* Create a princess-seam blouse from the Woven Top #202.

* Create a 6-panel skirt from the pull-on skirt pattern from #101.

* The Jean Jacket is going to get a new twist by adding a center-front zipper instead of the buttons and putting zippers on the sleeves instead of the cuffs.

* From #203, the unlined jacket, you will learn how to put a lining in the jacket, but change the center front to have a button extension and add some inset pockets in the front seams.

* The Bonus class this time will be taking the skirt pattern from #101 and combine it with the knit top pattern from #104 to create a dress.  We will add neck facings instead of the knit band and include a center back seam for an invisible zipper.
